On the morning of October 10, Shenzhen Singsun Electronic Technology officially put the PLM system on line and put it into use, and held a PLM on line meeting in the multi-functional conference room, which was attended by Ouyang Shaoyun, general manager of Singsun, members of Singsun involved in the project and core leaders of the SiP team.
PLM system is to manage the product life cycle, one of the most important section of the life cycle is order to delivery, the reason why Singsun introduced this system is to better improve the team work efficiency, play the team fighting spirit, do the right thing, do things right at once and shorten the product delivery cycle. It is mainly reflected in the following aspects.
1. Develop material and BOM filling and application specifications for mechanical, electronic and software, and realize product material and BOM standardization and modular design management.
2. Data source control: Ensure the uniqueness of data sources and maintain the interconnection and interaction of product 3d model data, 2d data, and PLM system data.
3. Making full use of the speed and traceability of the network, we will gradually establish electronic notification, reporting and approval mechanisms to avoid previous manual errors and forgetfulness and pave the way for the realization of a paperless office.
4. Knowledge base sharing: With the knowledge management platform of PLM system, we accumulate design experience and gradually establish a scientific and perfect knowledge base.
5. Multi-departmental collaboration: The system application has no boundaries, and PLM can become a collaborative management platform covering all departments of the company in the future.
Before the system went online, we went through a long project exploration and preparation process in order to find the most suitable solution for the company's operation and development mode, from the leadership team to the grassroots staff, everyone had to readjust their roles and daily work, and everything was done according to the specifications. It is a milestone in the company's development history, marking that the company is about to enter the standardized management stage, laying a solid foundation for standard product development and project management!
